Want to pick up great tips from casting directors, well-known actors, and other industry experts? Then mark your calendar to attend Back Stage’s tradeshow, Actorfest L.A., on Sat., Sept. 16 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.

This affordable one-day event invites actors to hone their skills via panel discussions, workshops, and seminars. Attendees will also be able to audition at a free open casting call and browse the free exhibit hall filled with products and services essential to the actor’s career.

"Regardless of where you are in your acting career, you’re going to come out of this event a more knowledgeable actor," said show producer, Susan Johnston, president of Select Services Films, Inc.

"The ‘best of the best’ in the industry are going to be there, the information is going to be there, and the wisdom is going to be there. You can shorten your learning curve by being there. I personally think that anything you can do to put your best foot forward is going to give you the edge that you need."
