The odds of these two voluptuous beauties finding friendship living on opposite sides of the coast, was unlikely. But life has a strange way of making things happen just the way they are suppose to, whether we realize it or not…

Three years ago, a designer approached Jamil Kali on the subway with an offer to participate in a fashion show. Despite having no experience or any knowledge about the modeling industry, she rocked it and realized she had a new passion. So on a whim she took a couple of days off from work and made a trip to New York. She decided to visit a few agencies to see if she really had what it takes to be a model. Well evidently she did because she got signed and now years later, hard work and perseverance has led to industry success.

She serves as Creative Director for PLUS Model and Daily Venus Diva Magazines, both respectively voted the #1 Plus Size Fashion and Lifestyle Magazines in 2011 by the prestigious Full Figure Fashion Week New York. Valery is also the recipient of the 2011 Fuller Woman Expo's Mia Amber Davis Award of Excellence. She resides in the beautiful Northwest with her loving husband.
