PLUS Offers Up an Issue of ‘Firsts’ This February

From the moment you peek into the February 2008 issue of PLUS, you know that there is something extraordinary going on…

First of all, plus size models have come a long way from the days where they were only seen in business suits, big dresses and bulky sweaters. Over the years, models, clients and photographers have been pushing the envelope to show that curvy models can carry a fashionable and sexy image… and this month, PLUS joins the movement… In this issue, we bring you our first ‘au natural’ cover as well as the introduction of our first male models!

Valery is the Co-founder and CEO of V.I.E., LLC, an online publishing company. She serves as Creative Director for PLUS Model and Daily Venus Diva Magazines, both respectively voted the #1 Plus Size Fashion and Lifestyle Magazines in 2011 by the prestigious Full Figure Fashion Week New York. Valery is also the recipient of the 2011 Fuller Woman Expo's Mia Amber Davis Award of Excellence. She resides in the beautiful Northwest with her loving husband.
