I am sure you will have an opinion on this one… Filippa Hamilton, a former Ralph Lauren model who is a size 4 (That is not a typo — size ’4′ not ’14′), was fired for being too fat!
Well readers… what are your thoughts on this one… what words of wisdom would you give to Filippa… and what scolding would you offer to Ralph Lauren???

I think it takes a lot of courage for this model to share this with everyone and I am sure that she is very hurt being as though she has been modeling for Ralph Lauren since she was 15. I don’t understand what exactly is going on here nor do I know all the details first hand but if everything is what it is then I think it is a shame that the sample sizes keep on getting smaller, causing these hard working models to feel the need to lose weight to fit into them and maybe even keep their jobs…not only is this physically unhealthy but it also is emotionally destructive. As far as the disgusting photoshop pic “mistake”, I am amazed that such an image would even pass as looking ok…it was as if they were showing her what they wanted her body to look like in order to continue working for them. My step-daughter is a tall athletic 15 year old who in my opinion is skinny and I would hate for her or any other young lady to see this image and think it is cool to look like that.
