Soho’s first “Browologist” opens Hibba NYC, an organic salon that promises an enchanting experience
New York’s newest brow, sugar and waxing “go to gal” Hibba Kipal, has recently opened Hibba NYC in the heart of Soho. Guaranteeing a intimate experience, the salon, located on West Broadway boasts an intimate array of threading, sugaring and waxing services. A self proclaimed Browologist, Hibba mastered the art of threading as a young girl in India where her natural ability to create perfect arches made her the coveted girl for eyebrow threading in her small town. Carrying her passion throughout her life as a hair-removal and brow sculpting expert, Hibba finally followed her dream to open her own salon and impact the lives of women everywhere.
The salon is warm and welcoming, complete with candles and meditation music and offers a precise range of services including her signature threading for brow-sculpting and facial hair-removal – Browology© A term that Hibba coined herself, Browology© is defined as the signature brow sculpting art of creating perfect eyebrows for your face. Hibba consults with each client first by drawing the ideal shape with a brow pencil and threading around the shape. A soothing temple massage and rosewater compression completes the experience .
Hibba NYC’s company motto is ‘Go Green with Threading™’ using only natural cotton thread for threading and offering a choice between two natural waxes, Sugaring and Azulene. Sugaring, which is adopted from ancient Egyptian methods of hair-removal is made from sugar, water, gel and rose oil and Azulene is an all natural wax composed of mushroom extracts, chamomile and resins. Together with threading, natural waxing and sugaring, Hibba is making the hair removal process an overall easy and enjoyable experience.
Hibba NYC is not only dedicated to improving your look and maintaining an eco-friendly practice – they work hard to give back to the community as well. Every Monday, the salon closes its doors to donate their time to various organizations that work towards philanthropic causes. Most recently Hibba NYC assisted with the New York Restoration Project and The American Cancer Society.
