Things seem to be getting out of hand in the fashion vocabulary description world. Invented by stylists & writers lately is the word JEGGING. After a lifetime spent dueling with denim styles and finishes we women now have jeggings. These can be described as extremely skinny jeans that look like leggings and are also are worn like leggings (with a zipper and flat front pockets and also w/o an elastic waist BUT the elastic waist is better for SMOOTHNESS for those of us with a fuller mid-section)

I absolutely love jeggings. I’m an “apple” body type so jeans that fit at the waist are often too big at the leg. jeggings are perfect. I just always wear them with a fitted top that exaggerates my curves so I don’t look like a block on stilts.
I think the “jeggins” are cute. There are many plus-size women who can wear them just fine without a doubt. But, for a bottom-heavy woman, like myself, they’d be an absolute no-no. My version of this style would be a straight leg jean. Whether you’re plus-size or regular size, every style isn’t for everybody. Hmmm…perhaps with the right top it’s doable.
I actually have a pair if “jeggings” (didn’t know that was the name but) I look HOT in mines and I do have more than my fair share in the back.
@ Andrea I am bottom heavy and wear dark legging all the time I don’t see why Jeggings would be any different guys seem to like it (actually they love it) my booty is a big obsession for them and so I like to show it off I’m a little thicker in the mid section but i find that a nice thick pair of leggings hugs everything in place and a darker color elongates and makes me look much thinner than jeans especially if they are high waisted… I feel it the opposite I would not recommend leggings to top heavy plus sized women who narrow at the hips because it might give that dreaded inverted triangle look which is never good but the again I don’t know I’m a latina from brooklyn and tend to go for the puerto rican or black males which i think prefer alil extra junk in the trunk lol as opposed to white males who prefer a more slender kind of curvy centered on hip to breast ration
