PLUS Model Magazine Sets Sail With Full Figured Fashion Week

Full Figured Fashion Week 2011 (FFFW), presented by Sonsi and sponsored by Lane Bryant, as well as Kmart’s Love Your Style and other sponsors, will kick off FFFW with CURVES AT SEA, a White-on-White Sunset CRUISE officially marking the grand opening of the event in New York City. “Our readers and industry professionals are buzzing with excitement as we get closer to the biggest plus size event of the year,” comments Madeline Jones, Editor-in-Chief PLUS Model Magazine,plusmodelmag.com.
FFFW, produced by DeVoe Signature Events, is the world’s first event to promote independent fashion designers, retailers, event producers, models and plus industry businesses. Gwen DeVoe, Executive Producer shares, “It is time for designers, retailers, boutique owners and businesses with an interest in the plus size market to combine their resources and their talents to create a memorable event that will rival all other Fashion Weeks.”

According to Jones, “Mention FFFW and people inevitably think plus size fashion & style, but Gwen DeVoe and her team are stepping it up this year with a long weekend full of events which include, workshops, competitions, the cruise and a finale that is going to set the mark for all plus size shows.”

The FFFW cruise sets sail on Thursday, June 16th aboard the beautiful Harbor Lights yacht departing from the Skyport Marina @ 23rd Street and FDR Drive, New York, NY.  Attendees will enjoy three floors of networking, libations and dancing under the stars with the Who’s Who in the plus fashion industry.
