Dreams of Plus Size Models: Behind The Scenes Video
It’s the photo shoot that Crystal Renn would have appeared in in another lifetime, but even without the big name attached Vogue Italia’s Sogno di Donna still has made a splash as one of the most talked about fashion pictorials for June 2011.
Knowing that the photo shoot would be popular, someone on set was charged with providing us all with a behind-the-scenes look at the shoots creation. Yet watch this video and it’ll feel like they actually weren’t. Where other ‘making of’ videos provide a first hand account, the video captured for Sogno di Donna is far more intimate. As a harpsichord plays out a Baroque piece (Bach?) the dreams of women and their accentuated poses are not so much laid before us as they are captured through cracks in door ways and around corners.
