Tracie Stern Named Model Development Director For PLUS Model Magazine

New York — Sep 28, 2011 — PLUS Model Magazine, (PMM) the #1 Plus Size Fashion Magazine continues its commitment to educating aspiring plus size models by welcoming veteran plus model Tracie Stern to the PMM team.

Tracie began modeling in 1993 and has traveled all over the world modeling for companies such as Fruit of the Loom, Sears, Target and JCPenny to name a few.

Madeline Jones, PMM Editor-in-Chief, shares, “In her position as Model Development Director, Tracie will be educating aspiring plus size models about the business of modeling, and advising those models that have done some work in the industry but are not sure what to do next. She will also be interacting directly with our readers and answering their questions.”

Ms. Stern’s career started in Toronto, Canada in 1993 and in 1995, she was signed by Elite Model Management in Chicago, now called Factor Women. She moved to the US in 1996 and never looked back. During her career she has been represented by several of the leading agencies in the world, including FORD NY and WILHELMINA NY. Over the past 8 years, she has branched out into the Spokes Model and Television markets as well as hosting live events.
