About Jessica Svoboda
A Minnesota native, Jessica Svoboda moved to Los Angeles in 1997 after earning a Communications degree from Purdue University. In 1998, she enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM, Los Angeles) and earned a second degree in Apparel Manufacturing.
In Jan. 2004, Jessica launched SVOBODA. As the CEO, Founder and Creative Director of SVOBODA, Jessica has made it her mission to create the best jeans for real women’s and men’s bodies. Her specialties are jeans for hard to fit women with curves including: jeans for muscular women, jeans for curvy women and jeans for plus size women!
SVOBODA has been featured in most major U.S. fashion and women’s magazines including: Vogue, Glamour, Instyle, People, O, The Magazine, People Style Watch, Real Simple, Ladies Home Journal, Life & Style, Seventeen, Latina, Essence, Figure, Health, and Weight Watchers.
