The excitement behind the scenes isn’t enough to keep Ms. Tia Darlene Rudd, TV producer/ entertainment journalist off the red carpet or out of the private lives of entertainments most beloved celebrities, athletes, and tastemakers. The journey into stardom took flight while at Clark Atlanta University when Tia worked for Laffapalooza Comedy Festival starring Jamie Foxx and quickly landed her in Hollywood after her college graduation where she worked for Paramount Pictures Studio. While in California, Tia was blessed to experience different positions behind the scenes of some of television’s biggest sitcoms and reality shows.
Shows like Girlfriends awarded her the opportunity to work with the beautiful Tracee Ellis Ross while working with Kirstie Alley and Ricki Lake allowed her career to take on a life of its own. The list of reality shows and sitcoms, that Ms. Rudd has the liberty of adding to her repertoire, is quite long but receives a nod of approval and is highlighted with fan favorites like the Dr. Phil Show, Biggest Loser, Surreal Life, and Jerry Springer.
Currently residing in New York City working everyday as a television producer and entertainment journalist, while preparing to release her first book ” 400 Dollars and 6 Suitcases” Tia’s journey continues and she is overly excited about keeping America “in the know.” In addition to her behind the scenes work Tia was also featured in Essence Magazine as a full figured model and has appeared in various sitcoms.
