Chenese Lewis Launches New Blog Focused on Body Image and Self Acceptance

The new blog, LoveYourBodyDaily.com will cover every aspect of body image including size, hair texture, and skin tone.

Chenese Lewis is widely known for being a positive body image and self esteem advocate and producing Love Your Body Day in West Hollywood, an annual event where women of all sizes come together to celebrate a day of self-acceptance, to promote positive body image and to show that you don’t have to be a size 0 to be beautiful.

Chenese joined the Hollywood chapter of the National Organization for Women and became the Love Your Body Day chairperson and created an event for her local chapter in 2006 that grew into a major event sponsored by the City of West Hollywood. Over the years the event has been covered by Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, E! News, EXTRA, and many more. The 2010 Love Your Body Campaign, where she posed nude with America’s Next Top Model, Whitney Thompson, went viral and garnered international media attention, magnifying her role as a leading positive body image advocate.

After 6 years of producing the event Chenese decided to move on to pursue other projects and has revamped the event website into a blog. No stranger to blogging Chenese’s personal blog cheneselewisblog.com recently received the #1 spot on the AboutCurves.com “Top 50 Self – Acceptance Bloggers” awarded to bloggers that inspire everyone to love their bodies.

LoveYourBodyDaily.com will provide daily content to promote positive body image, a forum to discuss issues and celebrate diversity.
