Plus size clothing retailer Ulla Popken is not just a retailer who believes in helping women look and feel their most beautiful through their clothing. They also want to celebrate women who are living life to the fullest and one way they are doing that is with their Phenomenal Women series.
Back in June, Ulla Popken announced via press release that they had chosen six inspiring women from hundreds of entrants nominated by friends, family and coworkers. These six women would have their stories featured via video as well as other prizes they would receive from Ulla Popken.
Ulla Popken hopes that by honoring these phenomenal women that it would inspire others to be the best that they can be, despite obstacles and setbacks in life.
“Our goal is to make a positive difference in our customers’ lives. We believe Feeling Beautiful Is Empowering™, but making beautiful clothing is only part of our mission. We encourage and celebrate women who strive to make a positive impact in their communities. We are honored to be able to celebrate these women’s lives.”
Ulla Popken just released the video story for the sixth winner of this amazing series. Her name is Ruthe Farmer and she is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the National Center for Women in Technology. Ruthe’s mission has been to encourage, inspire and guide young women to pursue careers in male-dominated fields such as Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering. Ulla Popken celebrates Ruthe and her great work in providing an environment for young women to realize their goals in these fields and follow their ambitions. Ruthe’s video is inspirational and furthers show how phenomenal a woman she is:

We applaud Ulla Popken for celebrating women who are empowering by sharing their stories with the world. We think this is an amazing campaign and a great way to, not only show accolades for six well-deserving women, but also to inspire us all to be the best we can be in life.
