Ulla Popken ‘Woman of Style’ Coming to the November Issue of PLUS Model Magazine

2 plus models, 3 curvy bloggers and 1 Editor-in-chief ‘Show Their Style’ for the November issue of PLUS Model Magazine

PLUS Model Magazine (PMM), plusmodelmag.com, the #1 plus size fashion and beauty magazine is proud to partner with Ulla Popken, ullapopken.com, an exclusive plus size fashion retailer, for the upcoming WOMEN OF STYLE (WOS) editorial fashion spread. Madeline Jones, PMM Editor-in-chief shares, “I’m delighted to partner with a brand whose credo is to empower women through fashion. Ulla Popken is a staple in the plus-size fashion industry and I’m excited to see the outcome of this very special photo shoot.”

For this special November issue, a team of plus size industry professionals, from models to bloggers, were asked to choose any outfit from the UllaPopken.com website and ‘style it’ their unique way. On October 6th, they will be photographed in New York sporting their fashions for an editorial spread, which will appear in the November issue.

Along with Ms. Jones, the WOS team includes: PMM October cover model – Fluvia Lacerda, star of NUVOtv’s Curvy Girls – Ivory May, and top plus fashion bloggers – Alissa Wilson, Allison Teng and Ty Alexander.

On set will also be Alexandra Boos, PMM Executive Marketing and Creative Director. When asked about the WOMEN OF STYLE editorial, she shared, “Fashion can be a reflection of our very essence.  I believe it was Coco Chanel who said, ‘Fashion fades, only style remains.’ Like a fashion thumbprint, it is exciting to see how an empowered, curvy woman makes an outfit uniquely her own.”
