This spring, it’s all about color and shine when it comes to your nails.
Pastels are big this spring with nail polish brands like Essie devoting a collection (titled Resort 2014) to beautiful Easter-like colors as well as having so many pastels to choose from in their regular assortment. Metallics are still “in” so if you prefer blinged out nails over soft pastels, Zoya’s Pixie Dust collection is the perfect combination of both worlds, merging pastels with metallics.
Believe it or not, the big trend this spring is white nails. White nails are subtle but noticeable. They have a way of making your hands look elegant and modern. OPI has a great shade called Funny Bunny that is a soft shade of white, which makes your nails look fabulous.
Whatever nail polish you choose, have fun this spring. There’s so many colors to choose from and it’s another way to change it up and reinvent yourself through your nails. And if you can’t bear to spend $10-$20 on a bottle of nail polish, check your local Ulta, CVS, Target, Walmart, Rite Aid and others for budget-friendly brands like Sally Hansen, L’Oreal, Cover Girl and Confetti, a personal favorite of mine that only costs $1.99 and is only sold at CVS.
