One Plus Model + Twitter + iPhone = PLUS Model Magazine Fashion Editorial
In our March 2014 issue, we made plus fashion history with our first social media fashion editorial featuring aspiring plus size model Halle Stanley. Halle was a model we found on Twitter and the entire photo shoot was shot with an iPhone.
“The focus of this issue is to show just how social media has changed the plus size industry,” comments Madeline Jones, PMM Editor-in-Chief. “We also want to push the limits of the iPhone and our creativity by capturing an entire fashion editorial, using this medium.”
During the shoot, Editor-in-Chief Madeline Jones shared images and updates via Facebook and Instagram. And the 10-page fashion editorial doesn’t disappoint. Halle proves to be a natural, effortlessly modeling clothing from Evans, Simply Be, Lane Bryant, Fashion to Figure and more.
