BGM Models Shows Body Diversity With Their New Website Launch
Body diversity is something that is lacking in the modeling industry on a whole and BGM Models is doing their part in setting out to show more body diversity, by using their plus models to send out the message that you should be happy and confident in the skin you are in.
BGM Models recently relaunched their website and the Australian model agency included a group image of all 14 of their plus size models, side by side, styled in Capriosca Swimwear, an Australian owned swimsuit company based in Queensland. Their goal: To show how amazing the models looked, all in different shapes and sizes. And we thought this was such a great way to show body diversity.
Natalie Wakeling, Model Mentor & Marketing Manager for BGM Models told us regarding the image:
“What is interesting is that most of us weigh around the same weight yet look so different! We think it’s a fabulous representation of how different bodies can look amazing at a size 14 and above. “
The group image shows models who range in size from 5’7 – 5’11 in height and dress size 12-18 posing with BGM Models Founder and Director Darrianne Donnelly.
Darrianne told us exclusively:
“BGM Models’ website relaunch happened as we really wanted to show the body diversity of 14 of our models on the model board. Weight has never been something we ask our models about. We just want them to be confident and happy in their skin and I think we achieved this.”
