Plus Model News Round-up: Fluvia Lacerda in Glamour Brazil, Tara Lynn in Elle France & More
Plus models continue to make their presence known in the fashion world, whether it’s gracing magazine covers, being interviewed by major magazines or launching their own collections. It’s great to see that curvy bodies are being more accepted on the mainstream fashion scene so whenever a plus size model scores a magazine cover or any other kind of worthy achievement, it’s not just a score for that model but for plus size women everywhere.
Plus model Tara Lynn recently shared her latest exciting news with her fans on Instagram – she’s featured on the cover of Elle Magazine (France). This is not her first time gracing an Elle cover. She appeared on the cover of Elle Spain back in November 2013 and on the cover of Elle France before in February 2012. We wonder if Elle USA is next. Tara is signed to IMG Models.
Brazilian plus model Fluvia Lacerda recently sat down for an interview with Glamour Magazine (Brazil). It was a great interview where she candidly spoke to the magazine about body image and how she has always felt beautiful in her own skin. Considered the “plus size Gisele Bündchen” in the fashion industry, Fluvia told Glamour Brazil that she is “pretty much immune to others negativity” and doesn’t waste time regretting that she does not fit the standards imposed on her by society. She also talks about her views on size diversity in the industry and what she thinks of plus size fashion.

Candice Huffine, who’s signed to Muse Models and MiLK Management, recently made headlines with the news that she was chosen to be featured in the 2015 Pirelli Calendar and she is the only plus size model featured. This week, she graces the cover of The Times Magazine UK, which did a feature on the models chosen for the calendar.
