PLUS Model Sreet Style: Sommer Green
Street style is always a great way to see what’s out there on the fashion scene and be inspired to create your own fabulous street style. We love to see a model’s street style when she’s off duty and living her everyday life. And we wanted to share that with our readers. So we will be featuring plus models in the industry who will share their street style with you and give you a glimpse into their lives.
Recently, Sommer Green, signed to IPM Model Management, stopped by the PLUS Model Magazine office. This beautiful plus model on the scene chatted with us about her favorite summer trends and her ideal day off, as well as, who in the plus fashion community inspires her with their style and much more.

Summer trend I’m most excited about:
The summer trend I am most excited about is the double split maxi tops and dusters. I like that they are so versatile and can be paired with jeans, shorts, or leggings.
Style icon:
I don’t really have a style icon; I’d more so call it my “motivation icons”. They motivate me to step outside of my comfort zone and try things outside the box. Some of my favorite stylists, models and bloggers at the moment are Reah Norman, Ivory Jinelle, Olivia Campbell and Loey Lane.
My Must Have Items:
My must have items are my cell phone, bottle of water, Carmex, and Neroli Water.
My Favorite Designer/Brands:
I’m not big on labels; I like certain collections from a range of designers. Right now, I love the Zelie for She Spring/Summer 2015 Collection, Jibri’s Spring & Pool Side collection, Rue107’s Nude Collection, ASOS and City Chic.
My Perfect “Day Off” is:
My perfect day off is at the beach with my Nook fully charged and loaded with Sci-fi/Fantasy novels.
My Personal Fashion Aesthetic:
My personal fashion aesthetic is comfortable with a bit of edge. I tend to have a hint of tomboy flare to my outfits. There’s always something hard mixed in with soft.
3 Words That Best Describe Me: Loyal, Giving, Logical.
We are loving Sommer’s street style and how laid-back but stylish it looks. A graphic tee doesn’t always have to be paired with jeans to create a nice casual look. Paired with a skirt and flats or even some cute sneakers can really give the tee a stylish kick and soften it a bit but maintain its edge. The orange skirt gives this look just the right pop of color. We also love the length of top, which is a longer cropped tee.
