PLUS Model Magazine Joins Forces with Former Hollywood Producer Turned Designer to Unleash The + PROJECT

New York – February 11, 15 2016 Hollywood producer turned fashion designer, Marla Wynne Ginsburg joins forces with plus-size industry leader Madeline Jones, Editor-in-Chief of, PLUS Model Magazine to create The + PROJECT.

The + PROJECT’s media campaign is well underway, inviting readers of PLUS Model Magazine and its 1.5 million subscribers to participate in the development of the MarlaWynne Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Ginsburg’s lifestyle brand MarlaWynne is exclusively available on HSN, QVC uk and The Shopping Channel in Canada.

“Offering fashion with a flattering fit for women of all shapes and sizes is so important in today’s highly competitive marketplace,” said Vanessa Dusold, SVP of Fashion & Accessories for HSN. “Marla’s designs align perfectly with our ‘democratic sizing’ philosophy and a reason for the remarkable success she has seen here at HSN. Her collection offers beautiful designs for every woman, regardless of her size, which is important to us as a retailer and important to our customers.”

Seeking to learn more about the plus market, Ginsburg reached out to Jones, who’s internationally-recognized. PLUS Model Magazine inspires the style-savvy, fashion-forward, full-figured woman to embrace her curves. The digital publication is one of the most influential in celebrating plus fashion and the plus modeling industry. According to Jones, she has never worked with a designer outside of the plus industry “who isn’t afraid of the plus size woman.”

“When I met designer Marla Wynne, we instantly connected on many levels, but when it came to the topic of age and fashion, we discovered passionate common ground,” says Jones.

“Women of a ‘certain age’ and women of a ‘certain size’ have much in common – they are largely ignored by fashion, and yet comprise the largest demographic and control the biggest share of wallet when it comes to apparel,” says Ginsburg.

Ginsburg and Jones’ creative design collaboration on The + PROJECT will give women a chance to openly collaborate on the development of the MarlaWynne Spring 2016 Collection across social media platforms.

After all, “Fashion and beauty should be democratic and ageless,” says Jones.
