Last October, Ashley Stewart announced they were partnering with True Model Management to launch a model search on Instagram where an aspiring model would win a modeling contract with the agency and get a campaign shoot with the retailer.
In January 2016, not one but two winners were announced on Ashley Stewart’s Instagram page. According to the retailer, the model search was the most popular contest the brand has held to date with 39K entries from aspiring models across the United States.

Tennae LaChey is also a woman who is not just a model. She’s a licensed cosmetologist and make-up artist from Chicago. As someone who is immersed in the beauty industry, Tennae feels inspired as a plus size model, to tell women that beauty transcends all sizes. Her mission is to let all women know that they are beautiful just as they are.

Both women are beautiful, driven, confident and ready to inspire plus size women to love themselves and embrace their bodies.
