A Soliloquy for My Sister by Tara Taylor

A Soliloquy for My Sister by Tara Taylor

Breathtaking; the graceful manner in which you glide through the room: a noble presence, a quiet confidence, a humble pride.  Words whisper across your lips elegantly, with a witty intelligence: offering encouragement and guidance.  A teacher by example, leader through motivation; a true professional adored by us all. As your fan you have inspired me.

Extraordinary; the loyalty through which you give the gift of YOU: a selfless offering, a pure intention, a genuine spirit. Missing not one special moment, you are always there: providing ears that listen, arms that carry, shoulders that bear burdens, hands that wipe tears, eyes that smile. Never hesitating to tug a coattail or give a swift kick in the butt: supportive and ceaselessly generous. As your friend you have uplifted me.

“Let not yours be the outward adorning with braiding of hair, decoration of gold, and wearing of fine clothing, but let it be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable jewel of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.”  1 Peter 3:3-4

Glorious; the beauty you are, beyond physical: an example of what it takes to make a difference for God.  Through your passionate acts of faith you are a true image of Him.  A woman wise beyond her years, you provide spiritual upliftment for those you care for: a muse of divine strength and courage, an everlasting angel with a purpose for living the change you wish to see in the world. As your sister you have revealed to me GOD’S SUSTAINING LOVE.

Mia, these words I say to you with Gratitude for all you have shared with and given to your family, friends and fans. In all your splendor continue inspiring, encouraging, listening, supporting, guiding, uplifting, revealing.  For in our darkest hours we know we are not alone but in your presence and protection.  I love you always.

Your fan, your friend, your sister,
