Shannon: Rebecca, I have to say that the designs of your swimsuits in the 2012 Lookbook for BECCA ETC are stunning! I understand that this line is not your first foray into fashion. Please share with us your background in fashion and a little bit about your fashion line before BECCA ETC.

Rebecca: After graduating from Otis College of Art and Design, I was immediately drawn to designing swimwear. Could it be that I was raised in Southern California? Prior to designing for BECCA (my contemporary collection) twelve years ago. I designed for Mossimo and OP, I’ve received such positive feedback from the BECCA by Rebecca Virtue line that i knew this brand needed to be offered in larger sizes; it seemed only natureal to extend my styling into plus with BECCA ETC.
