Cosmopolitan Magazine former Editor Dies at 90 – Images

The exuberant Helen Gurley Brown, former editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine has passed away at the age of 90. Helen has been credited for effecting the sexual revolution with her powerful and liberating views of women in the work place and “between the sheets”. Her book “Sex and The Single Girl” garnered much attention because it empowered women to have it all.

Cosmopolitan Magazine is well known for it’s direct views on sex, marriage and relationships.  While most magazines glossed over those topics, Helen made Cosmopolitan known for it’s candidly open articles and enticing cover copy. Helen Gurley Brown will be remembered as a legend in the publishing world; she cared for her readers and inspired them to come into their own in all aspects of life.
