Clementine was born in the beautiful pink city of Toulouse in the Southwest of France. Landing in Miami just a year ago without any plan whatsoever, Clementine has quickly become the model everyone is talking about. Her determination and ability to transform from girl-next-door to sexy vixen has brought her a slew of new fans that are supportive and eagerly awaiting her next move.
Maddy: You kind of came on the scene and took the US by storm, can you tell us about your plus size modeling career and how it came about?
Clementine: I began modeling four years ago in France, but I never thought it could be a full time job. I always tried to do it on a part time level. When I got to the USA one year ago, I really tried hard to get myself known by sending requests to agencies, PMM, Madison Plus, different blogs and websites supporting plus size girls.
It was working pretty well; I had good responses from everybody but nothing concrete. I enrolled in the American Apparel contest and got chosen to go to LA to shoot along with 9 other beautiful girls including my beautiful friend Heather Hazzan from Muse. I shot for Bodysuits and it had a great success.
Maddy: Were you the little girl that always wanted to be a model when she grew up?
Clementine: Oh my God, no! (Laughs) I was always too fat, too tall and too much everything. People told me I had a nice face but rarely talked about my body, it was kind of taboo. People criticized and laughed about me a lot. It was not easy being a size 14 teenager when all my girlfriends were a size two. I never imagined I could be a model. When I was a teen, plus size models were not common. Nobody talked about it and it was not even considered a job at all.
