Young Women of Strength: Amoena is a proud sponsor of the Young Survival Coalition

Among the proud supporters of the Young Survival Coalition are global superstar Katy Perry, Oakley, Inc., maker of world-class sunglasses, apparel and accessories, and Amoena USA, who partnered with PLUS Model Magazine this month to bring you the annual Love Your Body issue.

“Amoena has supported YSC for a long time, because we believe in their mission to reach out to younger women who, more and more frequently, are being diagnosed with breast cancer,” says Malissa Magyar, global marketing manager at Amoena. “It’s a group that’s often overlooked and until recently, didn’t have a lot of resources specifically for their needs,” she explains.


In fact, to honor YSC members this October, Plus Model Magazine and Amoena donated $1500 in a joint effort on Monday, October 7, in the YSC New York office.

Charitable donations like this one will fund resources, educational and social programs, and other outreach to help young women living with breast cancer feel strong, hopeful and supported.

“Amoena is looking forward to partnering with YSC on some exciting new programs in the near future,” Magyar continues, including the annual Conference for Young Women (C4YW) that YSC co-hosts, coming to Orlando in February.
