Unite Curves Networking Event for Plus-Size Industry Professionals
The Unite Curves Networking Experience is an interactive event hosted to gather plus-size fashion industry professionals together for an evening of fun and excitement away from the office. It is a chance to meet industry leaders, learn more about their companies and speak to upcoming independent designers.
Born Social Plus, a social media and branding agency will host year-end celebration for the plus-size fashion community. Unite Curves will hold a networking event on Saturday, January 25th, 2014 from 4-8pm EST in New York City. The event, which will be held at Chelsea Studios, will bring together some of the most prominent leaders in the plus-size industry. The plus-size community is small in stature compared to its standard size counterparts however; the division is easily noticeable and Unite Curves was formulated to combat the diversity.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow plus-size bloggers, models, fashion industry and magazine executives, photographers, independent designers and event coordinators. The networking event will feature a business card exchange, a shopping experience and the opportunity to list your company in Pitchfest™.
“Unite Curves is a great opportunity to give plus-size industry leaders and its supporters the opportunity to learn more about each other, their businesses and unite a community that already faces a lot of stereotyping from society. With the hurdles currently being thrown at the plus-size industry and its citizens we (as industry leaders) need to supporting one other and our efforts rather than contributing to heartache and disappoint. That is the purpose of Unite Curves, unity from the top down,” said Kim McCarter, Event Coordinator for Unite Curves.
