Plus Size Shapewear Review

Vlogger Lisa Scott Shares Her Plus Size Shapewear Review

Summer is upon us and before you shed the layers of clothing check out this great plus size shapewear review from vlogger Lisa Scott.

Convertible Bra and High-Waisted Brief: I have 2 that I have had for several years that I wash on delicate in the machine and hang dry, they are extremely worn, but still giving support, that’s how well they are made. I purposefully photographed me wearing my new nude colored one under a white skirt (my favorite white skirt of the season which happens to be from Lane Bryant) just to show having to wear black undergarments under white does not apply to the Avenue brief. You will see no lines or anything, nothing but a great silhouette. Avenue brief goes up to size 4X.

Great Support: I have 2 go to bras for great support 1 from Avenue that I usually wear with the clear straps, it’s great and you can interchange the straps and wear matching bra straps. Avenue bras go up to size 48DDD in plunge, back smoother, underwires and wire free. Avenue also offers size 46DDD in full figure cotton style and 46 DD in most other styles. My other is from Lane Bryant also offering the 6 way strap option.

T-Shirt Bra: The T-Shirt bra from Lane Bryant that is a must if you like deep V cut shirts like myself. Plus it looks amazingly beautiful under a blazer by itself it you are daring enough to pull off this look. For full body coverage I tend to wear my Lane Bryant all in one, it’s just so sexy and makes me feel so snatched!

Lovely Lace and Support Briefs:  Last but not least, this raspberry bra from the Avenue that has gorgeous black lace, seamless straps and fits me like its custom made. I have rocked this bra peeking out of my white blazer with jeans and it looked sensational. Now these are very supportive pieces but if you are a girl that likes a lighter feeling support brief you might like Maidenform high waist brief firm control flexees shapewear from Target. It will give you tummy and waist control not as powerful as the above mention but definitely moderate support. I tend to wear this on my weekends. The downside to this brief is it only goes to size 2X which fits a size 20-22, 48-50 hip. Wasn’t happy about that but it does have good stretch. Also Lane Bryant has a moderate support brief with some lighter waist control. I always like to have some type of control going on. Another winner for light comfortable moderate control is the nude boy short from Target it gives light control and is fantastic option to wear under skirts and dresses.
