PLUS Model Street Style: Dianna D’Amore
Street style is always a great way to see what’s out there on the fashion scene and be inspired to create your own fabulous street style. We love to see a model’s street style when she’s off duty and living her everyday life. And we wanted to share that with our readers. So we will be featuring plus models in the industry who will share their street style with you and give you a glimpse into their lives.
This week, Dianna D’Amore, signed to Dorothy Combs Models, stopped by the PLUS Model Magazine office to chat with us about her favorite denim trends and how they are a big part of her street style as well as how it has been to be a new plus model breaking into the industry.

How long have you been modeling?
“Let’s see … it’s August now so about 3 magical months. It’s been an adventure so far and an exciting departure from working a finance job.”
Where have we seen you?
“Most likely any airport from Bosnia to Australia because I adore traveling all the places I’ve never been. As far as work, you’ll just have to wait and see where this fresh new face lands.”
Describe your style in 3 words: Depends on mood
What are your three favorite designers, brands or stores?
“For shoes, I love Sigerson Morrison. I love to shop for vintage clothing at Wasteland on Melrose in LA. Please don’t tell NYC that I’ve been ‘shopping’ cheating on them… I also love City Chic! I recently got my paws on their ‘To Die For’ high-waisted black skinny jeans and I think I’m in love.”
What are your top 3 favorite denim trends?
“Don’t laugh but I love the ankle sweatpants jean. They’re unbelievably comfy and is a cute travel outfit. You can throw on some hot heels and rock ’em out. If I had a nickel for every time a friend scooped me up right from the airport to hit the town, I’d be rich. On the go, day-to-night looks are always a must. My second top favorite denim trend is denim pencil skirts. They are classic and easy. You can pair them with booties or boots for the chilly NYC fall. My third favorite denim trend are high-waisted skinny jeans. I feel that the color of your underwear should be a mystery so let’s keep it that way. I also feel like it’s very flattering for my curves.”
What are your fashion tips to wearing those trends?
“I love throwing on something retro or vintage with a new piece. It’s a great way to add your own flair to the latest trend.”
What are your modeling tips for aspiring models?
“Be confident in yourself and rock your own style. Take what makes you feel unique and show them something they’ve never seen before. Go for it and never look back.”
