Simone Pérèle, BGM Models & Cosmopolitan Magazine Launch 3rd Annual Curvy Couture Model Search

French lingerie house Simone Pérèle has partnered with Australian plus model agency BGM Models and Cosmopolitan Australia Magazine to launch their third annual Curvy Couture Model Search to discover the next top ‘Curvy Couture’ model in Australia.

The model search kicked off earlier this month with the goal of discovering un-signed models between bra sizes 12C – 16E (which translates to U.S. sizes 34C – 38E) who embody the spirit of the ‘Simone Pérèle woman’ by exuding femininity, elegance, confidence, and a savoir faire for fashion, and have the potential for world-wide success.

Those aspiring models will be invited to compete for a chance to star in a national advertising campaign for Simone Pérèle within the pages of Cosmopolitan Australia Magazine and a 2-year contract with BGM Models.

This is the only Australian model search to offer curvy models an opportunity to work with an international, luxury fashion brand sold in over 95 countries worldwide.

In their official press release about the model search, Simone Pérèle says “in the last 2 years, the competition has evolved into a national celebration of natural beauty and feminine curves, attracting over 500 entrants brave enough to bare all in the name of positive body image!”

BGM Models‘ Director, Darrianne Donnelly also echoes their sentiments:

“We know that models who connect directly with the customer are the most successful from a commercial perspective, but what’s really important is the number of entrants who have been inspired to start blogs, and drive conversations in social media communities around healthy lifestyles, body acceptance and loving the skin you’re in! These are the types of role models we could be seeing in mainstream media if we shine a light on curvy models.”

A face-to-face casting will be held on Friday, 5th September at Sun Studios, Sydney, with guest judge, Cosmopolitan Fashion Director, Nicole Adolphe.
A Top 5 Finalist photo-shoot with fashion photographer Ted O’Donnell and celebrity beauty vlogger and make-up artist, Chloe Morello, will be held on Saturday 6th September.
Winner will appear in Cosmopolitan’s December 2014 issue.
