Model: Liris Crosse

Look #1:  Liris is wearing a flutter sleeve jumpsuit in a bamboo print from Eloquii, $99.90, available in sizes 14 – 24 – click here to view and buy.

Fashion tip: Sometimes plus size women are afraid of jumpsuits and rompers. Find one that fits you well. Fit is very important when it comes to jumpsuits.

Model: Michele

Look #2: Michele is wearing a sleeveless watercolor print dress by Lela Rose for Lane Bryant, $148, sizes 14 – 28. (sold out online but available in-stores) — click here to view the entire Lela Rose for Lane Bryant collection.

Fashion tip: Florals are a great print to wear and feel feminine and beautiful. So this spring, don’t be afraid to wear florals.

Model: Desiree

Look #3: Desiree is wearing this eye catching dramatic print handkerchief hem dress from Lane Bryant’s 6th and Lane Collection, $119, sizes 12 – 26 – click here to view and buy.

Fashion tip: Often we get stuck on our favorite silhouette and end up wearing the same style over and over again. Try different things to see how they look and if you like them. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different styles and show your arms or wear lighter colors. A print like this one is a great way to try lighter colors mixed with darker ones in a sophisticated print while still looking chic and polished.

Model: Shanda

Look #4: Shanda is wearing a V-neck print blouse with destructed jeans from Ashley Stewart. Both pieces available in-store (sizes 12 – 26). Click here to shop all denim and here to shop all tops at Ashley Stewart.

Fashion tip: Lighter washes/shades of denim work well with a dark top or print top and paired with sandals or a pretty shoe can turn this casual look into a chic one.

Model: Haley

Look #5: Haley is wearing a horizontal stripe top from Jessica London, paired with black denim skinny jeans from Ashley Stewart. Click here to shop the black skinny jeans (available in sizes 12-26). Top is sold out online.

Fashion Tip: Horizontal stripes are not the enemy. Paired with a pair of jeans (make sure to buy from a trusted brand like Ashley Stewart; fit is key) and a pop of color via accessories and you will have the perfect chic spring outfit.

The segment really sends out the message to plus size women to step outside the box and have fun with fashion. Here’s some key styling tips to get you spring-ready:

  • Feminine – With every new season women grow more accustomed to seeing the runways brim with endless inspiration. As the trends begin to take shape, they expect for all the past designs and modern looks to be weaved once again by the bold, the sultry, the retro and the impossibly feminine motifs. Find what feminine looks work for you. Check out Lane Bryant, City Chic and Igigi for some great feminine looks.
  • Denim – There is denim for every occasion, from destructed cloud wash vests with a bold waistband skirt at the office to belted denim dresses and a pair of strappy heels, which would kill on a night out. So there you have it: Denim is appropriate everywhere and anywhere. Or at least that’s what the runways told us. Ashley Stewart, Torrid, Avenue and Lane Bryant all have great denim to choose from.
  • Bright and Bold – This spring’s collections are being shown with bright patterned separates, bold, solid staples and flashy accessories. So move away from the bland beige, boring black and neutrals. Color is the name of the game and Ashley Stewart is winning with electric colored blazers and vibrant pants. Eloquii and Lane Bryant also have wonderful bold colored pieces as well.
