Swimsuitsforall Launches New “BeachBody. Not Sorry.” Campaign Featuring Untouched Images of Plus Model Denise Bidot
We all see models in campaigns, editorials and advertising who look perfect and flawless. There’s no way she can have cellulite or rolls because she’s a model, right? Wrong. However, this is the perception many have when seeing model imagery that is photoshopped and retouched. Well, one retailer has launched a campaign, showing its plus size model minus the retouching in an effort to show that beauty doesn’t need to be photoshopped.
The “Beach Body. Not Sorry.” campaign from Swimsuitsforall (S4A) aims to show women that they can feel sexy on the beach by just being themselves. Their short but powerful tagline “Be unapologetically you” is right on time with many plus size women more than ever embracing their bodies and wearing more swimwear confidently. Fatkinis, anyone?
