The new Cut for Evans collection returns with an Occassionwear focus for 2017.
The Cut was started as an initiative for Evans to change attitudes towards fashion and size and for us to invest and educate the next wave of British design talent.
Working with Manchester Met university, a panel of industry professionals selected the one winner whose designs will be put into production and launch in selected stores and online this April.
The latest 7 piece collection has been shot on Irish model and plus size blogger Louise O’Reilly who founded her Style Me Curvy blog. Louise was also on the judging panel and looks stunning in the shots showing of the collection perfectly.
The collection is print heavy with the winning student – Rosie Riviere-Pring – taking inspiration from trinkets and her memory box from her travels which she then drew freehand as illustration to form her conversational prints which up close tell a story.
The collection includes a shift dress, high/low hem maxi, printed cami, cap sleeve tee and full A line skirt as well as a pant suit all in Rosie’s signature prints.
