Attention plus size models! There’s 3 model searches/calls that should be on your radar.

Wilhelmina announced recently that they are holding open calls now in NYC for plus size models. This is major as they have not been having open calls at the NYC office for a while.

Models, if you’re 5’9″ and up, sizes 8 – 18 (no exceptions!), here’s your chance to show Wilhelmina what you’re working with. Open calls are taking place every Wednesday from 10am to 11am at 300 Park Avenue South, second floor.

Pop Up Plus is holding a model search where one lucky woman will win an all-expense paid trip to New York City and be featured in a summer photo shoot. Hair/makeup and clothing from Pop Up Plus will be provided. This is a great opportunity to gain some experience and exposure as a plus size model.

On July 1st, 10 finalists will be chosen and from that group, one winner will be selected. Contest ends June 30th, 2016.

Torrid’s Model Search is back, looking for their 2018 face! And if you applied last year, don’t despair as you can re-apply this year. 

Click here to read more information on the submission process. According to the retailer, they’re looking for “diverse women, ages 18 and over, who wear sizes 10-30. No one is too short or too tall, or has the ‘wrong’ look to be a Torrid model, so please go ahead and apply!”

Speaking of Torrid, they are also looking for a size 18 fit model:

Bust: 46 ½” – 47 ½”

Waist: 40 ½” – 41 ½”

Full Hip: 50″- 51″

Thigh 1” below: 30″ – 30 ½”

Calf at fullest: 17″ – 17 ½”

Bicep at 1” below: 16″ – 17″

Height: 5’7″ – 5’9″
