A plus size fashion lifestyle brand that wants to empower women AND offers up to size 32? Yes please!

This new plus size fashion brand on the block is called RWN by Rawan (www.rwnbyrawan.com) and is launching TODAY, May 15th! We have our wallets ready.

Rawan Ghawi, the designer behind RWN by Rawan is no stranger to the plus size fashion industry. She led Forever 21’s worldwide expansion into plus sizes for seven years and was also one of the first plus size members on the buying team at Torrid. Ghawi also previously held positions at Abercrombie and Fitch and Wet Seal.

Alex Ok, President of Forever 21 said in an official statement:

“Ghawi was a key figure in growing Forever 21’s plus size division. This is not just a job for Rawan. She truly loves what she does and it shows in her work.”

As a customer and pivotal player in the plus size market for over a decade, the launch of her collection is one we are very excited about. With sizing so inconsistent across the board and denim being one of the most challenging styles for plus size women to shop, Ghawi appears to be perfect to launch a plus size denim-centric lifestyle brand that will offer sizes 10 to 32.

She brings an intimate knowledge of fit and thoughtful attention to detail that has been missing in retail.

While the initial collection will be a denim line, Ghawi will expand RWN by Rawan by also offering tops, dresses, jackets and more. New styles will drop on www.rwnbyrawan.com bi-weekly and from what we have seen, we have our wallets ready.

The collection features a versatile range of elevated women’s styles infused with unexpected details. The denim collection will include jeans, denim jackets, and denim shirts. Expect to also see military and cargo jackets, dresses and boho tops, all retailing for under $100!

After working in the plus size industry for over a decade I still didn’t have a go-to brand that met all my needs as a customer.
