It’s official! Addition Elle is back for NYFW!
We’ve known for some time that Addition Elle was planning to have its third runway show during New York Fashion Week but this year it’s a little more different and much more major. The brand’s show has officially been added to the NYFW schedule as one of its official shows.
That means we have two plus size brands to look forward to in seeing on the NYFW runway. It’s official… more plus size curvy bodies are coming to NYFW and we are ecstatic.
According to the official press release unveiled today (8/29/17), we not only have a show to look forward to but also a pop-up shop where women can purchase looks off the runway:
Addition Elle will be showcasing their Fall/Winter collections from boundary-breaking supermodel Ashley Graham and body-positive role model Jordyn Woods. Then, taking a page from the new “see now, buy now” retail model that is sweeping the industry, Addition Elle will open a weeklong pop-up store inviting women to bring the runway home with them.
Roslyn Griner, Vice President of Visual Planning and Marketing at Addition Elle said:
“We are so excited to be a part of the IMG Fashion Week schedule and to share the fashion forward collections that demonstrate there are no limits with regard to size. We want to share our brand with our fans in the US with the launch of our Pop-Up shop and new US website.”
The new capsule collection for Love and Legend where Addition Elle collaborated with plus model Jordyn Woods will also be on the runway alongside styles from Ashley Graham’s new line with the retailer.
Their first-ever New York City pop-up shop will open immediately following the show, offering not only the NYFW catwalk looks but also styles from their private label brands as well. Addition Elle fit experts will be on hand for bra fittings and style tips and the weeklong pop-up will feature an exciting schedule of special events and surprises. The shop will be open from Monday, September 11th – Sunday, September 17th from 11:00 am- 6:00 pm and located at 134 5th Avenue, between West 18th and 19th Streets.
