Lauren Conrad, we see you!

We’re always happy to hear when a brand expands into plus sizes because it’s yet another step in the right direction. And Lauren Conrad is the next celebrity to venture into plus sizes.

According to WWD, Conrad’s LC Lauren Conrad brand at Kohl’s will unveil sizes 0X to 3X following the brand’s New York Fashion Week presentation on September 6. Prices will retail from $12 to $154.

We think it’s amazing that she is unveiling this via a runway show and hope that means there will be some plus models strutting their stuff on the NYFW runway and we don’t mean a size 10/12 model.

And it looks like there is hope as Conrad has enlisted plus size blogger Loey Lane to be a part of the kickoff campaign, which includes a lookbook.

She told WWD:

“Plus is a category I wanted to get in to for a really long time. As a fun way to launch plus sizes, we partnered with a blogger, Loey Lane, who did a photo shoot for the runway collection to help us get the word out.”

Lane, who just launched a collection with Charming Charlie, is definitely a mega influencer with almost 500K followers on Instagram so Conrad made a great choice in tapping her to front the campaign and lookbook.

Conrad’s inspiration for her collection this year was designing “for a cool girl“, which translates into crushed velvets, metallics and faux fur within the collection. She offered a sneak peek featuring Lane on her blog here.

Despite the collection stopping at a size 3X, we are excited for this development and eager to see the collection for ourselves.

With both Torrid and Addition Elle having shows on the NYFW calendar and now this show on September 6th, we think NYFW is going to be majorly exciting this season and we can’t wait.
