We are beyond excited that NY & Company is now offering plus sizes.
When the announcement was made last week that leading American womenswear retailer New York & Company would offering its Eva Mendes collection in sizes up to 24 and 3X, all we could say was… it’s about time!
Greg Scott, CEO of New York & Company said in an official statement:
“The Eva Mendes Collection is our fastest growing sub-brand at New York & Company. This is our first launch into the plus business and we are thrilled to serve new consumers with our Eva brand. We have been successful at providing sizes 0-20 on our eCommerce site, including petite and tall sizes, so it felt very natural for us to expand the collection even further, with a new fit and new sizes for the plus customer.”
While the 25-item collection will only be available online, we have hope that if it does well, New York & Company will start selling styles in-store as well.
We also spy familiar faces in the images used online to promote the new line. Former PMM cover models Anita Marshall (September 2014, January 2014 and March 2013) and Veronica Pome’e (July 2016) can be seen online modeling clothing from the new line.
