We love it when we see people using their professional platforms to help others.

And that’s what this diverse group of models aim to do with their social awareness group MCTA.

MCTA, which stands for Model Call to Action, was created to help Hurricane Harvey survivors and they have now expanded their efforts to assist Hurricane Maria survivors in Puerto Rico.

Feel free to share this video ❤️ Me and my girls teamed up and created @modelcalltoaction ! Our partners include @brooklyncommune_ @butterfunkkitchen @changeinlove and @ortumc ! We know the devastation happening in Houston and we want…no..we NEED to help. We have set up two locations in California (The Inland Empire, Los Angeles), a Holliday, Utah and our flagship location in Brooklyn, NY at @brooklyncommune_ . If you are local or in NY and would like to donate, head over to @brooklyncommune_ and donate to the boxes we have designated. ▪️ To find out the other locations, head to @modelcalltoaction to get the contacts for the Cali and Utah drop offs.▪️I know it's #nyfw and it can be hectic but please, set aside some time to help donate. This was an unexpected tragedy and the people of Houston are in need. Feel free to contact @lexkhenry , @lovetolondon or @jazzurawesome with any questions you may have with the donations. You do NOT have to be a model to join in; we are just using our platforms to help ▪️ Feel free to share this video and spread the good word! ▪️#hurricaneharvey . . . . #newyork #bodypositivity #plussizemodel #cute #fashionweek #brooklyn #plussizefashion #highfashion #fashion #brooklyneats #hair #beauty #losangeles #naked #natural #vogue #alook #nyfw #confidence #beauty #changeinlove #beinyourskin #fashionstyle #fashionblogger #fashiondiaries #brooklyncommune #mcta

Plus models Jazzmine Carthon, Lex Henry and Veronica Pome’e partnered up to create MCTA where they have aligned with sponsors such as Brooklyn CommuteButterfunk KitchenChangeinLOVE and Old River Terrace United Methodist Church to provide essential items to hurricane survivors in need and using some sponsor locations as donation drop-off spots.

If Jazzmine looks familiar to you, it’s because she is one of the plus size models featured on this season of Project Runway. Veronica can be seen modeling for brands such as New York & Company and NYDJ, and also co-founded ChangeinLOVE, an organization promoting self-love through various campaigns. Lex Henry created the #NoSizeFitsAll campaign in 2016 to empower women to love themselves.

All of these women have shown how much they want to help others in different facets so it’s no surprise to us that they banded together to create Model Call to Action.

MCTA is having an event tomorrow (Monday, 10/8) at Brooklyn Commute where you can help too by coming by, donating some items and mingling with everyone, including the ladies of MCTA.

As gratitude and thanks for all of your efforts in helping us send relief to #hurricaneharvey, we would love to see you all at our upcoming mix and mingle event on Monday Oct 9th with @brooklyncommune_ ! 6:30-8:30pm. Feel free to bring a donation as this will be our last package we are sending out before moving on to helping out with #puertorico . Refer to the list of requested items and should you have any questions, contact the restaurant per the flyer or send us a DM . . . #newyork #bodypositivity #plussizemodel #cute #fashionweek #brooklyn #plussizefashion #highfashion #fashion #brooklyneats #hair #beauty #losangeles #naked #natural #vogue #alook #nyfw #confidence #beauty #changeinlove #beinyourskin #fashionstyle #fashionblogger #fashiondiaries #brooklyncommune #mcta
