February is the month of love and this new lingerie collection has us wanting to feel sexy all month long.
Embracing your body is such an amazing way to show love to yourself and buying sexy lingerie in your size is one way of doing that.
Blogger Corissa Enneking of Fat Girl Flow believes in that wholeheartedly and that “celebration of you” is evident in her new lingerie capsule collection with Impish Lee, a custom luxury intimate apparel brand.
Modeled by Enneking herself and plus model Ilianna Ayala, signed to True Model Management, the collection stands out from the usual lingerie styles currently in the market because Enneking felt it was important to create a collection that had color and neutrals as opposed to the usual black. She was also adamant that the pieces would be available above a size 20. Yes!
We’re loving that Ayala was chosen to model alongside Enneking to show how the styles would look on two different body shapes and sizes. The Latina plus model may look familiar to you; she won the Ashley Stewart #AshleyTrueModelContest search in 2016 and was also featured on our March 2017 cover.
The 16-piece capsule collection includes styles such as rompers, robes, bralettes and a garter made out of stretch fabric that will actually stay connected to one’s stockings.
Most importantly, the pieces in the collection are tailor-made to each individual, based on their measurements. Impish Lee creates pieces in their New York City based studio, creating luxurious pieces for all bodies. No more ordering a piece of lingerie online, only to be disappointed when it doesn’t fit!
Enneking said in an official statement:
“In fashion, there’s this frustrating idea that plus-size women won’t buy luxury products. Not true! We simply haven’t had access to these products. I’m excited to work with Impish Lee to offer pieces that don’t just fit the ‘ideal’ hourglass figure.”
Noelle Ventresca, CEO of Impish Lee adds:
“We expanded our size offering to a size 30 this last year, and the feedback has been incredible. We loved working with Corissa to create luxurious and comfortable pieces that women actually want to wear.”
