Season of Love…

One of the fascinating things I’ve noticed in the last few years is the amount of self-love I’m seeing women and men give to themselves. We are living in a time when self-care is not viewed as selfish but rather necessary. As Valentine’s Day approaches it’s easy to get caught up in the “holiday” aspect of it. This year I made it a point to dig deep and do what I really wanted to do to celebrate.

I decided to spend it not only with my husband but with my daughter and mom as well.

In addition, I decided to take some much needed time alone and treat myself to an afternoon of meditation and spa time. Valentine’s Day may be geared towards lovers, but we should be taking time to also celebrate those in our lives who show us so much love, and this includes ourselves.
