#TeeUpChange Campaign to Bring Size-inclusive Education to Next Generation of Designers
With the support of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Dia & Co is launching the #TeeUpChange campaign to bring size-inclusive education to the next generation of designers.
Student designers rarely receive education or materials to design for all sizes, perpetuating the lack of options for plus size women in particular.
Dia & Co is on a mission to #movefashionforward.
By starting a fund to inspire and equip the next generation of designers to create styles for every body, Dia and CFDA are aiming to create a lasting shift toward inclusivity in the fashion industry.
The stars of the #TeeUpChange campaign are 5 limited-edition tees, each bearing a powerful message chosen by a notable champion of inclusivity in celebration of the plus size community. Contributors include Venus Williams, Lizzo, Christian Siriano, Tracy Reese, and emerging student designer Marissa Petteruti.
Each design is available exclusively in sizes 0X-5X and are priced at $35 each with all profits donated to projects designed to promote size inclusivity at CFDA’s Educational Initiatives schools.
