Swim 2019 Preview: What’s New This Season from 7 Major Brands

It’s never too early for swim.

It may be January and in the middle of winter but it’s always a good time to shop swimwear. Whether you’re buying a swimsuit for an upcoming tropical getaway or stocking up early for this summer, new swim styles are starting to emerge right on time.

We’re seeing more swimdresses, active swim, prints, one shoulder styles and string bikini styles. We’re loving the caged details we’re seeing as well as cutouts, halter necklines and ruffles.

We’re also seeing tons of black swimwear, which makes us wonder if that classic neutral color is back for a while. Black may seem boring but with new silhouettes and details plus a statement making cover-up, black swimwear can be chic and modern.

Check out what 7 major brands are launching in swim right now:

#1: Lane Bryant

This year, Lane Bryant is offering a little bit of everything and we love the vast assortment. From sequin string bikinis and corset styles to active swim via their Livi Active brand, LB is positioning itself to be a true swimwear destination in 2019.
