The film follows the journeys of three plus-size models and how they navigate the fashion industry. It’s a film showing how these models fought to reshape the world of fashion and the beauty standards of society.
And that’s not all.
On Friday, June 7th, Women’s Film Fest will also be hosting the ‘Plus Size Fashion and Representation in Mainstream Media’ panel, which will include a stellar group of panelists including Giovanna Morales and James Earl O’Brien, Director and Producer of A Perfect 14.
The other four panelists are powerhouse women within the industry, who are recognized as pioneers in the progress that has been made throughout the last decade.
We’re excited to announce that our own Editor-in-Chief Maddy Jones is one of those panelists, along with:
- Liris Crosse, First Plus Model Winner of Project Runway & Actress
- Katya Zharkova, Russian Plus Model, TV Host & TV Producer
- Anastasia Garcia, Fashion Photographer and Advisory Board Member of Consider the Image.
