CEO and Founder of Queen Size Magazine, Blassingame has been featuring plus size women and men front and center since 2011. However, she wanted to do more to celebrate this community. And that’s when the Full Figured Industry Awards, also known as the FFIAs, was born in 2019.
Her mission has always been to honor those in the plus size industry that have made an impact and helped in growing the industry. The FFIAs celebrated those individuals and the industry during an event that had so many people from our community in attendance. We can’t wait to see who will be nominated this year and what Blassingame will do next to celebrate the plus size industry.
