I had a completely different editors letter prepared for our June 2020 issue but with the unrest happening in our country, I felt like I needed to address what is happening on behalf of PLUS Model Magazine.
Our country is hurting…
And right now we are watching it all unfold on TV and social media and it brings up so many feelings. Fear, sadness, and anger are seen in interviews and posts and some from our very own friends within the plus-size community.
If you want to support, the information is out there… sign petitions, donate and use your platform to voice your support.
But in a little while, things will change and we won’t see protests happening and this is where change needs to happen. We cannot forget and move on with our lives. We must continue to work towards change and healing in this country. In order for this to happen, it takes every single one of us.
I know many people who think that ONE person won’t make a difference but YOU DO!
