There are so many unknowns and we still have to muster up the strength and will power to wake up and go after our dreams. Giving up is not an option. So, how do we stay motivated during unsettling times?

#2 Be Kind to Yourself  


During this pandemic, the notion of “pivoting” is more real than ever. Before the pandemic, you may have easily worked on tackling a to-do list with over 10 things. Now, it might be a struggle to accomplish 3 things. Guess what? That is okay. Your life is different, and you have to be kind enough to yourself to accomplish your needs with less judgement.   

#3 Embrace the Now 


The past is behind you and the future is never guaranteed. What you have is the here and now. Embrace the life you have right now. Being grateful for this moment will give you a greater sense of peace and joy than focusing on your past or the uncertainty of the future.

Do you struggle with managing your expectations? This is the year to say goodbye from expectations, so you can say hello to joy.  

#5 Spend Time with People You Love


With everything going on, it is imperative that you prioritize your time and energy. Spending time with folks who upset or disturb your peace is illogical. Who has time for that? The people who make me laugh and feel loved has made dealing with COVID-19 so much easier. Don’t you agree?
