The Influencer Issue…
I had a really hard time referring to myself as an influencer for a long time because I’ve always felt like I’m just trying to figure out each day like the rest of us so how I can be influencing anyone?
And then I realized that influencing is not about being perfect and knowing it all, it’s about sharing your most authentic version of yourself, be it in fashion, cooking, motherhood, advocacy, or anything, really.
So when I was looking for cover models for the “Influencer Issue” I wanted to focus not just on the people that you see all the time on your timelines because they are absolutely fabulous but someone who is equally as fabulous and may not have come across your timelines before.
They’ve been featured in media and they have individually as well as together amassed an incredible following. Richmond and Richlove Rockson are influencers in Germany and caught my attention last year with their incredible style. It’s more than just style, they are captivating, and confident and somehow make us want to be their friends all wrapped into one.
I’m a people watcher and maybe this is a NY thing, but I love sitting in the park and watching style walk past me, and luckily with social media I can do the very same thing.
