Plus Size Modeling News: Simone Pérèle and BGM Models presents the 2013 ‘Curvy Couture’ Model Finalists
Last month, we reported that French lingerie house Simone Pérèle partnered with Australian plus model agency BGM Models to launch their 2nd annual Curvy Couture Model Search, to discover the next top ‘Curvy Couture’ model. You can find that article here.
Simone Pérèle and BGM Models announced yesterday that five finalists have been chosen (shown in image above). The winner will now be determined by a public vote online. You can place your vote on who you think should be Australia’s CURVY COUTURE Model for 2013. That model will win a 2-year contract with BGM Models and a national campaign with Simone Pérèle.

Simone Pérèle and BGM Models held the Face-to-Face casting for the 2nd Annual CURVY COUTURE MODEL SEARCH last week at the exclusive event space on Level 7 of David Jones, Elizabeth Street.
Twenty-five girls from around Australia had been selected from over 400 on-line entrants, all ranging in size from a 12C-16E and five of these amazing women were selected by the panel of judges including BGM Director, Darrianne Donnelly and Simone Pérèle’s National Fitting Expert, Marlene Hassett, to star in a finalist photo-shoot, modeling Simone Pérèle’s current AW13 collection.
Each model was inspired to enter the competition by the thought of being able to represent, promote and reflect a healthy, positive body image to their peers and young women. Their stories, their inner beauty and their ability to encapsulate the femininity of the ‘Simone Pérèle Woman’ ensured each of them a place in the Top 5.
One of these girls will win the coveted title of Australia’s CURVY COUTURE Model for 2013, a 2 year contract with BGM Models and a national campaign with Simone Pérèle, but they need your vote!

Denise Bidot and Swimsuits For All have jointly unveiled the SwimStar All Stars nationwide search, dedicated to discovering emerging talent in the realm of swimsuit modeling. Encouraging aspiring models to share their personal narratives, the initiative aims to inspire women of all backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. Following a rigorous selection process, Brittany Wilborn, Camryn Henry, and Sharon Clawson emerged as the chosen winners. In January 2024, these models embarked on a transformative journey to Harbour Island, where they had the unparalleled opportunity to shoot alongside Denise under the expert direction of internationally acclaimed photographer and director, Ben Watts.
