PLUS Model Magazine Shoots Fashion Editorial Entirely on iPhone for upcoming Spring ‘Social Media’ Issue
PLUS Model Magazine (PMM), plus-model-mag.com, inspiring the style-savvy, fashion-forward, full-figured woman to embrace her curves, makes plus fashion history when they shoot an aspiring plus model for their Spring, ‘Social Media’ issue, entirely on an iPhone. “The focus of this issue is to show just how social media has changed the plus size industry,” comments Madeline Jones, PMM Editor-in-Chief. “We also want to push the limits of the iPhone and our creativity by capturing an entire fashion editorial, using this medium.”
When deciding to develop this issue, Jones was inspired by the way PMM works. “Since beginning the magazine in 2006, we have been purely online. We have embraced social media as the lifeline through which we connect with our readers, industry professionals and aspiring models, on a daily basis. When I received a photo on Twitter from Halle, an aspiring plus model, I knew that she had real potential. Wanting to show the power of technology, social media and fashion, we booked Halle for our first-ever iPhone editorial, which will be featured in the Spring ‘Social Media’ issue.”

Denise Bidot and Swimsuits For All have jointly unveiled the SwimStar All Stars nationwide search, dedicated to discovering emerging talent in the realm of swimsuit modeling. Encouraging aspiring models to share their personal narratives, the initiative aims to inspire women of all backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. Following a rigorous selection process, Brittany Wilborn, Camryn Henry, and Sharon Clawson emerged as the chosen winners. In January 2024, these models embarked on a transformative journey to Harbour Island, where they had the unparalleled opportunity to shoot alongside Denise under the expert direction of internationally acclaimed photographer and director, Ben Watts.
